Welcome to OP Freecycle (Overland Park KS).
We are a grass roots recycling group open to residents of the following areas; Johnson, Wyandotte, Leavenworth, Douglas, Jefferson, Franklin and Miami Counties in Kansas, Jackson, Clay, Platte Counties in Missouri, and to anyone else who feels we are close enough to benefit them.
We encourage everyone to recycle instead of sending items to the landfills recycle it. Any item may have a use to someone else, it may be something as small as empty toilet paper rolls or coffee cans for crafts to home furnishings
or automobiles.
Instead of sending that old couch or mattress to the dump offer it to fellow members. To you it may be just an old mattress to someone with a mattress with springs poking through it would be a welcome item. Remember, something that is old to you would be New to someone needing the item
We want everyone to know that we are not a charity site or just a site to get free items. Our goal is to help preserve the environment and our natural resources.
